In keep with the profound despair and Satan's attack on Job's mind to have him "curse God to His face" (c.f. 1v11 and 2v4 – 4); In the series questions where rise, as in a) Why was I allowed to be born? (3 – 10); b) Why was I born alive? (11–19) c) why can't I dies here and now? (20 – 23). And ii) Why is life given to the man who has no future (v23) – the man whose ways are hidden and whom the Lord has hedged in?
