The season usually kicks off with Black Friday and the big sale events. It seems though a lot of retailers are moving the start date even earlier, mixing Christmas not only with Thanksgiving but with Halloween, trying to get a jump retail sales.Our sins are wiped from the books by the blood of that baby in the manger. We can have joy that our past is forgotten. We are free.We have our joy year round by because we have the Holy Spirit in us. When we ignore Him and live a life contrary to the Spirit of God we are in conflict... and conflict steals our happiness. By the power of the cross and resurrection, our desires of the flesh are crucified. Through our baptism into death, we can have fullness of life, brought forth by the Holy Spirit. Salvation is just a starting point, in our relationship with Him, an introduction so to speak of. Oft to many times people never make it to the growing period, the continual praying and seeking God's face in our walk and never ending relationship!All we have to do is get others to believe what we believe, how could something so easy be so hard for so many?So many church's in every community, practically one on every corner,So many opportunities to worship the Great creator, So few in society willing to make a commitment to a new life and to be found faithful.The Gift of newness that never wears Off...
