Job must now answer his second friend Bildad's accusations against him. Job shocks his friend by admitting that God is always right and holy whatever he does. However, because Job believes that since it's true, there is no way he can make his case before God because God would be justified in afflicting him. Who could argue aginast God. He is not a man. So, job longs for a mediator to help him litigate his case in the heavenly throne room.
