The Christian life is a funny thing, from the moment you are saved the real trouble actually begins, and it doesn't let up even for a moment until you are removed either in the Rapture or through death. But one thing is guaranteed, no matter who are, you will have trouble in the flesh. Another funny thing in the Bible is Hebrews 11, what we call the "heros of the faith" chapter, why is it funny? Because many of the people in Hebrews 11 had moments of incredible weakness and personal failure before the Lord, yet they are accounted as righteous. David, a man after God's own heart, committed adultery and murder well after he had already started walking with the Lord. I could go on and on, but that's not the purpose of my message today, not by a long shot. Today I want to talk with you for a few moments, not on your sins or my sins, but on something the Bible calls the 'hope of glory' which is Jesus Christ. Paul says that the doctrine of the indwelling Christ was a mystery until Jesus Himself led Paul to reveal it. When you got saved, you were 'buried with Him in baptism', sealed by the Holy spirit, and risen to walk in 'newness of life'. We live in confusing and discouraging times, today I want to remind you of what your hope actually is.
