Before we came to Christ we were lost and at some point we became a seeker. We wanted to seek the truth and find God. In Acts 8:34-40, the Ethiopian man was seeking and he wanted to know about Jesus. Philip told him about Jesus and he got saved. Once he was saved he asked Philip about baptism because he wanted to follow after Jesus in scriptural baptism. Baptism is a command but does not save you. There are people out in this world today who are seeking Christ, like the Ethiopian man. If they come up to you or you speak to them, tell them and let them know about Christ. Please join Pastor Scheving as he preaches on "A Seeker Finds God."
