True Rest for our souls. I listened as suggested by the friends, but didn't find clear Scriptural support.
Gavin himself said that God is the only One eligible to authorise or change a day, so dear friends, how can you say that the day is continuing - and changed, both at the same time?
This was an opportunity to state the particular interpretation of Reformed Theology for this subject. That is fine for those who wish to go that road. Those conclusions can only be arrived at by applying that system of theology,
and charity must allow for those who take at face value Christ's own words..that worship is now in spirit and truth, and not in place or day etc, Christ Himself being the ultimate fulfilment of every Word of Scripture.
So, may Christ be the One Object and the goal of all our studies and contemplations.
While our focus is on the details of days 'how to' etc etc....it is off Him! Only He can give us the rest which our sin-sick souls require. Let us be glad in Him!
