Challenges and applications 1. None of us have been treated as we deserve. 2. Some believe a measure of blessings is owed them. They feel in their hearts that they have it coming to them. 3. Some have stubbornly or with dreadful horror refused to accept or entertain the idea that sufferings may be part of God’s plan and refuse to entertain the prospect. 4. Many only take God seriously when the difficult times come. 5. Some are deaf, dumb, and blind to God’s providential dealings. 6. All sufferings for believers will turn out for good. Rom. 8 clearly teaches this. Only in Christ will all this make sense!
