In the morning we take up Matthew 2.1-12 and in the evening Matthew 2.13-23. These texts with Revelation 12 reveal the final showdown of the dragon seeking to devour the "Male Child", and shows the enemies' utter failure. The battle continues with the dragon seeking the followers of Jesus Christ.
