This morning I will begin a new series of sermons from the book of Job. This sermon is introductory in nature, but it is very important nonetheless. Today I want to briefly introduce you to the person of Job, and then I will spend the bulk of my time answering the question, Why preach from Job? I will explain several reasons why I believe this is very important, and relevant for our growth in grace. I will then proceed to explain just how I plan to approach this series, and the reasons why I believe this approach is essential.
