Great Sermon! These are truly sad days for the USA. With the sinful beliefs of the Supreme Court's being their reasoning for decisions, our nation gets more depraved.
Along with our nation's growing rejection of God for our future, our churches are becoming more weak and no longer preach the Gospel in Truth. We need revival if we are to survive and not face more strong judgment of God, which we already are seeing. If you're a child of God, continue to grow in The Lord, study His Word, and pray for strength for yourself and for our country.

Powerful Sermon! After listening to Phil's series on the Unpardonable Sin, it literally made me sick to see how apostasy and false teaching is taking place in our churches today. Our nation is turning against God and Jesus Christ, and is mocking the Holy Spirit. As children of God, we must study the Holy Scriptures more diligently, and pray for our nation more than ever before as we are already feeling the judgment of God taking place. With greater immorality consuming our nation, the Rapture must be getting very close. We need the strength of the Holy Spirit to live each day in this sinful world.

Phil Johnson is my favorite... I love Phil Johnson, have listened to many of his sermons. About 11 mins into this sermon he talks about the "casual eating of grain on the Sabbath day" not being a sin, and that the Pharisees exaggerated this as a sin...however, I'm just going through the book of Numbers and this is very much a sin, and anything, however slight, done on the Sabbath was cause for being stoned to death. IN FACT one man who was gathering sticks on the Sabbath was stoned to death. The Pharisees DID often exaggerate, however, they got it right on this one. But Jesus showed His Lordship by showing how He is greater than the laws, or else none of us would have any hope at all. He is GREATER THAN the Sabbath, He is the Lord OVER ALL. Haven't listened to the rest of this sermon yet, will do so now, I'm sure the rest of it is wonderful. I realize Pastor Johnson is human, and like the rest of us can make a mistake now and then. ;)
Phil Johnson is Executive Director of Grace to You, the media ministry of John MacArthur. Phil is also an elder at Grace Community Church, where he pastors the GraceLife fellowship group. He is probably best known for his websites, which include The Spurgeon Archive and The Hall...
