To believe and proclaim the truth is to face difficulties in this world and even death, but Paul says that we are not to fear death because our resurrection is as sure as Chrsit's. Finally, Paul shows that his single goal was for God to be glorified. Paul was very effective for the Kingdom because he pursued God's glory through the channel of self-sacrifice for the benefit of others. This is God's ordained way to glorify Himself.
