Great Sermon! Alcohol is so romanticized in our society today. On a personal note, my life has been so touched by alcohol and drug abuse among family members. That is what motivates me to flee from alcohol and drug abuse. Does God bless alcohol abuse? No way. Thanks so much for this sermon. When you come to Baltimore, Maryland, USA, get on the #8 bus and you will amazed at the number of liquor stores on Greenmount Avenue and 33rd Street. The liquor stores offer check cashing services for people receiving public assistance money. Oh, and don't forget the Power ball and Lottery tickets. Thanks so much. Blessings!

Good Message I don't drink and I agree with the intent of the message. I have also enjoyed MANY other of Bro Michaels sermons. Of the verses used however, I don't agree with the way Genesis was used. Noah wasn't said to have sinned and additionally until Leviticus incest was NOT considered a sin. Indeed if it had been, we would have died out quickly from the beginning. I also don't believe brother Michael can be dogmatic in his interpretation of John 2:1. Other ancient texts (which we use for evidence of Biblical text) say that at celebrations, stronger wine was provided at the beginning dulling the senses for weaker wine after. THIS IS NOT TO SAY I CONDONE DRINKING FOR I DO NOT!!! The statistics alone is enough to cause anyone to listen to this sermon. Sola Scriptura!

Great Sermon! I loved that message Bro Michael!!! With all those statistics, one would think that a born again Christian would totally abstain from all beverage alcohol--but, alas--there are so many professing Christians who would advocate and teach that it is okay to drink beverage alcohol--in moderation--of course!! All that these people do is to try and justify their own use of beverage of alcohol, claiming "Christian liberty"! Our "Christian liberty" should not be an opportunity for the flesh--
For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another. (Galatians 5:13)
God bless you Bro Michael--
