The word "knowledge" signifies that we are sure of something When we know something we have become convinced that it is true. The problem is that the world is full of lies and we are very likely to accept something as true when it is not. This false knowledge then becomes a standard by which we reason and we are more and more entangled in lies and fantasy. This is how a mind is broken. This is how a soul is deceived and damned. There is only once source of truth and that is the Word of God. Only God can keep us in the truth and He can only do that when we truly yield our life and our will to Him.
