B. McCausland (4/6/2015)
“ Mention ”
When facing frustration about other's disregard on the matter, it is fitting to recollect that there is always a price to pay when one loves truth and purity more than things, people, or self. Philippians 1:29 testifies to this: ‘unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake’.

“ Great Sermon! ”
Yes, B. McCausland This was indeed a great message. You seem always prepared to recommend timely sermons. How do you tell your fellow congregants Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, (Jude 11)? Without being isolated or ostracized. What I see happening among my circle of fellow believers is that they feel comfortably nostalgic with man-made celebrations. We are to consider those weak in the faith. But how can you strengthen those who don't want to grow or to see the salvation of the Lord in their midst. One can mistakenly personalize the opposition and withdraw without healthy fellowship. But often I forget where in Luke 4, after the wilderness temptation, Jesus went into the temple. The hearers rejected the man, the method, and the message of the God of all grace. How can I tell them that God will not bless those rejecting truth?

“ Great Sermon! ”
B. McCausland Perhaps you can assist me. I listened to Mr. Schwertley. I grow from his portions. Just short of two minutes into his message he is saying, "We don;t want to mix pagan elements or . . . ??? Is he saying popery (from Pope) or potpourri? It is ironic I can't make out the word being used, when the point is made with both usages. I want to encourage bloggers to pray that God opens the eyes of those who have been blinded by false teachers. Only God can open the eyes of a man.

B. McCausland (4/6/2015)
“ Effective delivery ”
Mr Schwertley demostrates he has cleverly thought through the matter using extensive research. The three presentations in this series are informative, challenging and thought-provoking.
