In our fast day sermon, we hear the promise of God, "return unto me and I will return unto you". We hear the Lord call to us to repent, with His promise that He will return to us when we repent. When the church repents of her sins, the presence of the Lord is with her and with the presence of the Lord, the Church has the great blessing of His nearness expressed in promises such as: "God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early." If we seek the breaches of Zion to be repaired and the presence of the Lord for revival, we must repent of our sin and turn back to God. Preached 01/18/22 at a fast day meeting from Malachi 3:7.
