Those who speak uprightly. Those who despise ungodly gain by oppression. Those who do not pervert judgment by taking gifts or bribes. Those who close their ears to the suggestion of violence against any. Those who shut their eyes to avoid the lust of sight. He who guards his heart, his mouth, his ears, and his eyes. For these, the fire is a refining fire. They are not consumed. The Lord is always with us in the fire. Whatever our tribulations, we will be delivered.
