When challenged by Pontius Pilate about his kingship, the Lord Jesus testified, "My kingdom is not of this world." It help us first to understand when he spoke, then what he said (its point and proof), then what he meant by it. That enables us to identify what we must learn: that Christ's kingdom is not of worldly origin, nor established on worldly principles, nor does it advance by worldly force, nor is it governed by worldly policy, nor is it subject to worldly rule, nor is it entered by worldly means, nor is it subject to worldly decay.
