The Lord assures His people that they *will* go through deep waters and fiery trials. It is "when thou passest through" not "if". But He also promises them that they will, without fail, pass *through* the trouble and not be destroyed by it. The secret of how the believer can walk calmly through it all and not be overwhelmed with fear and worry is also found in this wonderful text from Isaiah.

Great Sermon! Such a hard lesson but a true and good one. I find comfort in pastor wagner having also been through these things. He also speaks quite often to my situations. Then points me to God again.
