This sermon examines the teaching of the Scripture on the duty of worship "in families daily," as expressed in the Westminster Confession of Faith section 21.6.
Although this is a series on "Hard Words in the Westminster Confession," these words are not hard to understand. However, they are hard to practice.
This sermon was too ambitious--I tried to give both an historical and a Biblical overview of the important privilege of family worship, but I am afraid I could only sketch both. However, many fine works are available on this topic, including J. W. Alexander's classic "Thoughts on Family Worship," which I would recommend to the interested listener.
