How does Jesus's baptism point to His sacrifice on the cross? What does the Spirit resting on Jesus signify? Given the Father's declaration, if a person opposes Jesus, who are they ultimately opposing? What is the doctrine of the Trinity? How is it seen in this passage? Describe the Father's relationship with His Son. Now think about what happened at the cross. Glory that now in Christ, we are loved by the Father with the same love! (John 17:23).
