Text: “For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.” (Galatians 6:8)
Doctrine:
God’s People must war against the Flesh and the wicked fruit it produces. We must strive to plant seeds of righteousness, and harvest the fruits of the Spirit in our life. This will ultimately keep us on course for eternal life. Jesus Christ is intolerant of lukewarm individuals or Churches. (Malachi 2:17) Ye have wearied the LORD with your words. Yet ye say, Wherein have we wearied [him]? When ye say, Every one that doeth evil [is] good in the sight of the LORD, and he delighteth in them; or, Where [is] the God of judgment?
Reasons:
1. Jesus Christ came to destroy the works of the Devil and glorify his Father. (1 John 3:4-10) 2. Those who do not the love Son, do not love the Father? (1 John 2:23-25) 3. Jesus will not tolerate those who sow wickedness! (Matthew 7:15-23)
Application:
1. Do not tolerate seeds of wickedness in your life. (1 Peter 1:13-20) 2. Judas Iscariot is the patron Saint of the modern Church. (Luke 22:47-53) 3. Do not partake in the iniquity of the lukewarm Church in our land. (Revelation 3:14-22)
