In this sermon I consider the structure of the book. There are three common structures. One particular thing I noticed as I surveyed many sample outlines across all various interpretive approaches is that the most important factor in determining the structure was the given purpose of the book. As I have followed from the very beginning, I believe the purpose of the book is to encourage the saints to persevere in light of the truth that Christ is soveriegn over all things.
