In this week's sermon we continue with our broader examination of the Doctrines of Grace, also known as The Five Points of Calvinism. On this Lord's Day we return to our study on the first point, the doctrine of "Total Depravity," or what is commonly known as the "T" in the acronym TULIP. Today Pastor Gustavo has us turn our attention to scripture found in the New Testament on the heels of last week's introduction and Old Testament examples. Is the oft referred to, kinder & gentler, New Testament in agreement with this doctrine of depravity? More importantly, as some would suggest, are Jesus' "red-letter words" and teachings in agreement? Or is this doctrine something we simply encounter in the Old Testament? What, if anything, do we bring to the table concerning our salvation? It is our prayer that you'll join us for Part II of our examination on "Total Depravity," as we attempt to answer these questions and more.
