The Scripture says that we "ought" to walk as He walked. The word means that we are obliged, or we owe it to him to walk as He did on this earth. We are debtors AFTER we are saved. We are law-breaking CRIMINALS before we are saved. To walk as He walked is to have the same view of the world around us. It is to value the same things He valued. It is to live for the same things He lived for. If we are honest with ourselves, we are not even close to hitting the mark in this matter.
