God is not something we can break down into near little parts in order to more readily understand the whole. In this case The Whole is infinitely greater than the sum of the parts, for there are no divisible units of God.
God allows us to describe him with words, but his very essence defies description. We can describe aspects of his nature, but those aspects are glimpses rather than actual divisible parts of God. Paul 1 Cor 13: “Now we see through a glass darkly.” Or, “Right now, we can only perceive reality as a mirror’s reflection.
There is no way to break God down into near little parts to fit into our theological or psychological boxes of human understanding. The very nature of God is One of Unity. Unity is an aspect of his identity. He has had, is having and will have perfect wholeness in every Epoch of time, for he always has been and always will be. He is the ever-existent one.
Ex. 3:14 God said to Moses, “I am who I am.” And he said, “Say this to the people of Israel, ‘I am has sent me to you.’”
