After giving a brief introduction to the book of Romans, Dr. Felker expounds the truths of this text of Scripture. He points out that the good news of salvation was promised by God through his prophets. The good news of salvation was made possible by Jesus, who fulfilled the promise that the Messiah would be of the seed of David. Since Jesus was clearly demonstrated to be the son of God by his resurrection, He certainly has the power to forgive and grant eternal life. Finally, this good news of salvation must be received by responding to the call of God in understanding that salvation is received as a gift by true saving faith to the glory of God.
