God had made a promise back in Genesis to Abraham to give him the land. Although he never saw the promise fulfilled that didn’t change that God had promised it. God gave them their sworn inheritance. He wants to give us peace, we just have to give Him the burdens. The victory we get He gives us because He has promised it. We need to keep being obedient to Him and we will see Him keep His word.
