Heb 10-9-15: These verses are talking about Christ completing the law. There's a reason God repeats things over and over again, because people are sometimes resistant to His message. We'll go over it as many times as God went over it. Vs9: Jesus Christ has come to complete the first testament and to start the second testament. Vs10: we are sanctified through the body of Jesus Christ once. Vs11: daily sacrifices can never take away sins. He's talking about the priests in the old temples. They only put off the wrath of God for a short time. Vs12: there were no chairs in the old temples in the sacrifice area, because you had to keep sacrificing over and over again. The high priest had to keep sacrificing over and over again. Jesus Christ completed the requirement. Vs13: this goes back to the Book of Psalms, Christ sitting on the right hand side of God, and God will make Christ's enemies His footstool. Vs14: sanctified means you are set aside, you are a child of God. Vs15: There are no ghosts, only spirit. So the Holy Ghost is a witness to us Vs16-18 is talking in a prophetic tone about Israel and the Jews, Jeremiah 31 where Israel will be restored in the future. Right now the world is down on Israel, wanting to buy up their land and get rid of them. But we are living in a time when Israel has been restored as a country, very interesting. Nowadays, the Jews deny the New Testament. If you go there and preach the New Testament today, you will be put in jail. They are working on the gold breastplate of the high priest and getting ready to rebuild the old temple. Vs18: The sacrifices all through the centuries that the Jews did had no effect on .....
