In John 15, Jesus indicates that fruit bearing is a preeminent feature of the Christian life. From start to finish, the Bible is full of all sorts of pictures and illustrations about fruit bearing and living a fruitful life. Fruit bearing is made more difficult, painful, and labor intensive due to sin. God produces fruit in our lives that is designed to make Himself attractive and appealing. God uses this fruit to draw others to Himself.
