Jesus, the Good Shepherd of his sheep, is the theme of John 10. In verses 22-30 we see several characteristics of Jesus' sheep. These are people who believe in Jesus, listen to his voice, are known by him, follow him, have received eternal life, and will never perish, i.e., lose their vital life-union with him. They are eternally secure in the hands of Jesus and of the Father. In such a position, how could they not be eternally secure?
