Great Sermon! Gary interesting sermon some points to consider regarding the mode.
1. Baptizo is not always used to discribe immersion, see Mark 7 how do we immerse a table in a pot?
Heb 9. where baptizo is used to describe sprinklings of the heifer?
2. The translators obviously transliterated because the word didnt describe what the was taking place.
3.I dont believe the translators of the KJV would compromise their integrity to satisfy the establishment.
4.History clearly shows that sprinkling and pouring was used very early in church history.
5. Baptism is symbolic! Like when the Iraelites where baptised into Moses and they did not get wet.
I was immersed as an adult, but I hold that if someone desires pouring or sprinkling this should not be a point of separation.
Thanks for you great sermons.
