Great Sermon! i had to leave my church because there was a lady there who would say God was in the lottery and give the children money to come to church. I told the lady to stop and contacted my pastor who said he would talk to her. Next Sunday came and she told my son to take money again and said tell your dad to jump in a lake. Told my pastor again and he said she's just misguided and to bear it in love. I told him gambling was a sin. We left that church and he never bothered to contact us That was six months ago.

To Lisa To Lisa... You said, "God timing is far slower than my children's childhoods.... Where is God now and all these self-righteous people who have large loving families and supportive spouses?"
Wow! Before you blame God, and call others self-righteous, examine your heart. Examine your faith. We are told repeatedly in NT to do that. I wouldn't dare to let such God-condemning words to leave my mouth. Never! I would be terrified to be in your spiritual situation. Not in the physical situation, but spiritual. If you came to the point that you can accuse and blame God as opposed to trusting him, submitting and repenting, you are on a slippery slope to more evil. With such attitude don't expect miracles and pity. Expect more chastisement! That is how things work in the spiritual realm. Bitter heart is poisonous, and can poison your whole present and future life. I will pray that you repent your hasty words and turn to trusting him. Job said, "Though he slay me, yet I will trust in him." We all, including you, have to do the same in adversity.

To Lisa So sorry to hear of your plight.
Will be remembering you in prayer, as I'm sure others who read your post will be also praying.
The Judge of all the earth will do right.

Great Sermon! Responding to Lisa: I to will be praying you. God is so faithful. He will not fail, seek him with all you have and He will meet you. His promises are true if we tie into them and ask Him to perform His promise to us.

Response to Lisa Hello Lisa. I agree. There are many so called christians who should help women in your situation but do not. I am sorry for that. But God will never fail you and though you are in the middle of the a storm do not give up on Him. WITH GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE. Press into consistent prayer, no matter how long it takes and be like the persistent widow. God will honor that kind of faith in Him. You don't need a jackpot to get your children back, just simple, childlike faith in your Heavenly Father. Is there anything too hard for the Lord? I will pray for you and your children.

Not all is vanity. I gave in at the last minute and bought a few tickests, not for mansions, boats, and vacations, but to try and save my children. The criminal courts have ÇOMPLETELY taken my children away from me. Why? Because not ONE single person would step up and help me unless they got handsomely paid. Money makes this evil world go round, sad but true. God timing is far slower than my children's childhoods. I have not seen my son in two years. Last he was a boy, now a young man and nothing can bring back that time. My daughter suffers with no mommy when she needs me the most. Where is God now and all these self-righteous people who have large loving families and supportive spouses? They haven 't a clue what physical, emotional, and financial abuse is like and no way out of the family court system when your evil spouse lies and makes five times what you make and the courts make money tearing families apart. A jackpot would have trumped them all and none of them could threaten me again or try and control my or my children's lives. Just try to imagine the heartache each and every night when I come home to an empty freezing home and eat alone and do everything alone. And all that for being a loyal, devoted, Christian wife. So a little windfall could have paid an attorney and heat.
