Protestant Reformers: Nonconformists It should be noted that our Protestant Reformers of old were nonconformists since they opposed the rebellious Catholic Church. Given that the European Union seeks to revive rebellious popery in Europe as well as the United Nations seeking to spread popery around the world, there is a growing need for more nonconformist old-fashioned Protestant churches. This is why it is helpful to have more Free Presbyterian churches and Bible Presbyterian churches to continue the nonconformist heritage of the Protestant Reformers.
