Great Sermon! I've heard this familiar story since my childhood. Until I heard this message I didn’t think I could garner new insights from it…but I did. Pastor Sukhia took an O.T. story deeply etched into my mind and enabled me to look at as though it was the first time. He took a three thousand year old story and made fresh and relevant applications to my life today.
What did I take away? All of us have a choice…we can bow to the pressures of a society that increasingly is squeezing Christ out from every corner of our lives or we can remain faithful to what God tells us in His Word and deliberately purpose in our hearts not to defile Him.
Pastor Sukhia reminded me in this message that incomplete obedience is nothing more than disobedience. That was something I needed to hear. It’s one of the principle themes in Daniel 3, but my blind eyes didn’t see it until Pastor Sukhia opened up God’s Word.
