Gavin says, "the Moral Law of the 10 Commandments prohibits both sexual relations outside of marriage between a man & his wife in the 7th & 10th Commandments &…Jesus Christ…in Matthew 5:27…saith "Thou shalt not commit adultery;" &...in expounding on the Moral Law...I Timothy 1 verse 10 itemizes both 'whoremongers' & 'them that defile themselves with mankind' as egregious breaches of the 7th Commandment. Now the King James Bible's 'them that defile themselves with mankind' is a reference to Leviticus 18:22 'Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination' & Leviticus 18:24 'Defile not ye yourselves in any of these things.' The Greek word in I Timothy 1:10…arsenokoites means a man who is a 'man-lier,' that is, 'a man who lies with a man.' It's therefore inclusive of any male homosexual acts. And hence this same word at I Corinthians 6:9 is translated as "sodomites" in Article 35 of the Anglican 39 Articles, Book 1, Homily 11. Furthermore…at Matthew 5:21 Jesus Christ cites the 6th Commandment & saith "Thou shalt not kill," & explains its reach includes unjust anger. And so everything from unjust anger, through to unjust violence, through to murder is prohibited by this precept. Now one form of violence, though certainly not the only form of violence…is sadomasochism, which refers to sexual activity in which someone enjoys inflicting pain on the other. Hence it's an immoral sexual act in violation of 6th Commandment & also violates the proper place of human sexuality between a man & his wife in a loving relationship safeguarded in the 7th Commandment. Therefore the 2 primary issues we are looking at are egregious violations of the 6th & 7th Precepts.
