If we claim to be pro-life, than we need to be consistent. We cannot murder others because they are doing horrible things, that is left to someone else. Garrett Swasey lost his life while saving the lives of others at a place he abhorred. We wrestle not against flesh and blood but against the evil forces of this world. Our spiritual weapons are more powerful than the physical weapons that we see. Our warfare is not against people but the lies that people tell, and against the other evil principalities of the world. Romans 13:1-7 tells us that governments are the instruments of God and have the duty to punish wrongdoing. However, no one has the authority to require us to do something that is wrong or forbid us from doing what is right. How should we respond to the crimes committed like we have seen in the Colorado shooting at Planned Parenthood? We should pray. Pray for the Swasey family who lost their father in the shooting and pray that others will continue to fight for what is good and abhor what is evil.
