“ Great Sermon! ” Great teaching, Pastor Lawson! I have been keeping up with this spirit world series. I just wanted to comment to say that what you spoke of in the end of this teaching about college comparative religion classes is true. When I left high school and started college I had just gotten saved. I was leaning toward going to a Christian school to study the Bible, but ended up in a state university instead, doing a Religious Studies degree. By the end of my first semester, after taking comparative religions, I was indoctrinated to believe that the religions are all just different paths to God(pluralism), and it set me up to doubt the Bible's validity. Not soon after, it was easy to accept the teachings of Buddhism, Theosophy, Bailey and Blavatsky. Thankfully, 5 years in the New Age, God pulled me out by showing me how evil all of those teachings are and that the Bible is truly God's word. I have since looked back and seen how the Religious Studies concentration in a public university set me up to accept the occult and esoteric teachings. Praise God and His goodness for revealing to me the depths of the deception. Thank you for all your work!
