I trust you had a wonderful Thanksgiving reflecting on the goodness of our great God and His unfailing faithfulness. While this Thanksgiving is so very different with the uncertainties and difficulties that surround us, God has proven Himself faithful to us and always will no matter what we face.
The sermon today is on God's power through Jesus Christ to defeat and protect us from the power of the enemy of our souls Satan. The passage of Scripture is 2 Kings 6:1-20 and the title of the message is: " Waging Spiritual Warfare Successfully".
There has been from before the beginning of time and there continues to be a great invisible warfare between the Lord God Almighty and Satan. The main theme of the Bible is God's promise in Genesis 3:15 that the " seed of the woman " the Lord Jesus Christ would defeat Satan at the cross and lift the curse of eternal death from us.
This true story in 2 Kings is greatly encouraging because it shows us the Lord's protecting, delivering love extended to Elisha and us over the powers of Satan.
May the Lord greatly strengthen you to fight your spiritual battles through the weapons of His Word and Prayer through this message.
