Tony was at the corner of Marquette and Locust, with his "Stop and Talk" cross. He heard someone call to him, from behind him. He turned and saw a middle-aged man behind the wheel of a car. The man waved to Tony, indicating he wanted to talk to him.
The first thing Tony noticed when he arrived at the open driver's door window of the car was that the man inside the car was weeping.
