The Lord does not reveal Himself in ways that we cannot understand, nor does He seek to Lord over us to manner and means of our salvation. Rather like a Faithful Father, or even as a Tender Mother, He shows us and then nurtures us in the way in which we can be saved. The Triune Lord has revealed, pull back the curtain, of His plan of redemption, both the origin and end of it, the Author and Paradise itself. The Lord makes it clear by repeating the same refrain of deliverance, passing over, and being placed in that land where peace and worship are present, drawn from the fount of grace, unto the end of being set apart for such a glorious end. Here we find the Lord's purposes restated in them, and the call to cross over repeated to this generation that did not go over the Red Sea, but will soon cross the Jordan.
