What has God called His church to be and do in this world? There has never been a more beautiful topic than the glorious gospel of Jesus Christ. Jesus is the grandest though in literature. He is the unmatched delight of every soul. He is the Rose of Sharon, The Root and Offspring of Jessie. He is the Alpha and the Omega. He is my King, and the Lord of Lords. No man could ever dream up His perfections, His Atonement, His Propitiation. His Splendorous Sacrifice. Who is a saving God like our Lord? Only God can Justify the ungodly? It must be Christ who bears the sin of the enemy of God.It must be The Spirit which regenerates men, draws men, enables men, and grants repentance and faith. It is our God who has given His elect the ministry which we are going to speak of today. God made it clear that every Person of the Trinity would have a glorious part to play. The Father Elected me. The Son died for me. The Spirit Regenerated and is now sanctifying me. But God didn't stop there. He uses you and me as a means of His grace as well. We are sent out to evangelize, but then He allows us to be His disciple makers.He allows us to train up His elect disciples. He allows us to equip these new creatures in Christ, to serve Him. Oh how thankful I am that God has used us to be the mentors for the next generations.
