I was certainly one of those people who for years soaked up the Lordship stuff, examine yourself daily, doubt your salvation always, it will cost you everything camp, MacArthur "the gospel according to Jesus", Washer , Lawson etc. It's only recently by God's grace that I truly understand that salvation is absolutely free and fully in Christ, and there we can rest and not fear if we have done enough or we are holy enough because we are accepted in the beloved. Praise God for his sovereign grace.
