For the evening worship we take up Romans 11.33-36 and Article 18 of the first head of doctrine of the Canons of Dort. This glorious conclusion to the teaching on election and reprobation is a blessing for the Christian. There are some texts in Scripture that simply lift our eyes and hearts to praise and glorify our God. This is one such text. Once we figure out that God does not owe us an answer (verses 33-35) we will be freed to be in awe of His perfect divine decree.
