After doing the ceremony with the birds and sprinkling the healed leper, next the leper needs to shave off all his hair, wait a week and then shave it off again which is a picture of the first resurrection (justification) and the second resurrection (glorification). During that week, he can stay inside the camp but not in his tent, which is a picture about how our abode is in heaven after salvation, but we are still residing on earth. He also needs to make three sacrifices: a trespass offering, a sin offering and a burnt offering. These are made in the opposite order from what is typically made as the burnt offering is usually offered first and then the sin or trespass offering is burned upon the burnt offering. The focus is on the trespass offering. For glorification and acceptance into heaven is not through re-justification. It is through the sins that we have committed since salvation to be forgiven.
