Hell was described and discussed more by Jesus Christ than any of the others used by God to give forth His word. In the gospel of Matthew He referred to hell as "unquenchable fire 3:11-12; fiery hell 5:22; other darkness 8:12 and 22:13; furnace of fire 13:42-50; eternal fire, hell of fire 18:8-9 and 25:41; and eternal punishment 2:46. The truth revealed by God about hell stands as given. The plethora of efforts of mortal man to massage, redefine, reduce, or diminish the facts as given by God only serve to delude sinful mankind into thinking there are alternatives or that it will not be as God says it will be. Hell was prepared for the devil and his angels. Those who reject Jesus Christ as the only Savior, to refuse to obey the Truth as given by God, are making their choice of hell as their future and eternal home. An irreversible decision once death comes. Today is the day of salvation as God's gospel is still the means of forgiveness and deliverance.
