The Bible teaches only born again believers. 4. There is the erroneous joining together of the doctrine of the church and the subject of salvation. Church membership does does not include salvation. Salvation is a prerequisite for church membership. This false teaching has led to persecution towards those who disagree with their doctrine of the church.
