Our first Sunday to Celebrate the Lord's Table together. It was a day of celebration for what God had done yet also a day to focus closely on what we were doing as we approached the sacrament. Thus the service as a whole was built around the Table. The Sermon focuses on the notion of Communion with God as well as each other and the Confessions teach us the nature of what the Table represents.
Note that the audio drops off a good deal when we got up and moved into the adjacent room so we could partake of the elements together. We have a lady in our fellowship with serious allergies to gluten, so I tried my hand at gluten-free matzah. I am a good baker usually, but the gluten-free flour just did not do the trick. There are some chuckles as the loaf is passed and people worked on consuming chunks of the bread (note: better bread recipe next time). Also, toward the end you hear some background talking during some of my explanation/prayer. We share a facility with another church and some folks came into our area before we were through. ;-)
