Great Sermon! Pastor Brown's sermons are excellent! This one is no exception! If the Church of Jesus Christ would remember and proclaim this most important history, we'd have few popish churches in the land.
We must continue to pray, fast, preach and raise up many children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord - so that we can take this world for Jesus Christ! Unfortunately, many Hindus, Muslims and Roman Catholics haven't forgotten this basic tenet of nature and nature's God - be fruitful and multiply. Children are a blessing from the Lord!

Passing The Baton? ... These actions continue today and I believe that much of Islam's evil has been "copy catted" from Catholicism over the centuries. They had nearly 500 years of Catholic example to fabricate and perfect their dogma, using Muhammad, as the basis of the Qur'ran, A Manifesto of War against the Jew and the Crusader; all mankind not Muslim.
As Gospel Christians we struggle now with the increase of Islamic evil.
Killing is the true Christian Dilemma. It is forebidden in Scripture. Must we become those cited in Rev. 20:4?
I think not. The Father hates evil and that is what we are fighting. Defend the faith!

I Hope You've Heard This One! In 2005, few have read, studied, and understand the Bible. The Torah [Old Testament] shows us the unfolding fabric and panorama of history through the Davidic line to the Risen and Annointed Savior, Christ Jesus.
Even deeper in the pit of darkness are those who have not compared the Catholic Catechism with God's true Word.
Far fewer still can vividly see prophesy being fulfilled today. "Churchianity" prevails with the continued worship of idols, repeticious rituals, sounds, and symbols, none God-ordained.
We see the greedy viciousness of the Crusades, the 30-year war, the horrors of Sinn Fein and the I.R.A., and we see the deadly pattern and the continued separation from God's Word and the Christ's gentle teaching and life in direct contrast to this plunder.
There was no war nor violence within the Savior's teaching and yet the Romish thugs murdered, plundered, robbed, raped and beheaded in His Holy Name, as justification for their sin.
These actions continue today .....

Great historic parallels! A MUST LISTEN! There is no biblical justification for the Catholic Church or its behavior throughout the ages. Since Kings and Despots, shortly after Christ's Ministry on earth, attempted to distort and hi-jack the beauty and teachings of the earliest church, for their own gain - culminating and then rapidly escalating with Constantine in 324 and then 1700 years of the Papacy - 'Christianity' has become perverted, misunderstood, and defiled.
An unholy marriage was created and Christ's church became a mistress to the state. Thus, the creation of a true institutional whore transpired. A line of flawed and evil men, masquerading as "Christ's emissaries on earth", including Pope Urban and his henchman Peter the Hermit, led to the slaying and plunder of The Crusades that continues on today. The Universal church promise was twofold: Kill and plunder for the Holy Name of Christ and, should you die in battle, Heaven is guaranteed you! Sounds like Islam, minus the 72.
Both promises were unscriptural lies purported by greedy and covetess men.
People cannot separate the man-made edicts, frauds, and human doctrine from the original intent of Jehovah; "Thou shalt not kill!" Or, Christ's mission and the church (cf. Matthew 11:28).

Great Sermon! Thank you,Rev Brown, for a well-researched history lesson from the early seventeenth century, and its connections to modern-day terrorism. The verse from Second Kings blessed us here,as "The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom".
Ian Brown succeeded Dr Ian Paisley as minister of Martyrs Memorial in August 2013. Prior to this he pastored the Free Presbyterian congregation in Northern Ireland’s Maiden City, Londonderry, from 1987 to 2013. He is the author of several books, notably: “Belfast Boat – Titanic,...
