Last Sunday, through out study of New Testament Scripture, we attended a wedding at Cana, in Israel, along with Mary, the mother of Jesus. Jesus was present, along with His new disciples, the servants at the wedding, and the head waiter. The bridegroom was there, but we did not get to meet him, nor the bride, nor any of the other guests.
But we did get to learn about the first miracle, or sign, that Jesus performed at the request of his mother. He turned between 120 gallons and 150 gallons of water into wine, because the host had not properly planned for the number of guests and the party ran out of wine.
