The main focus of this message is the humbling grace of God, by which our human pride to know all things and to be in control of all things is broken, so that we may find our trust in God alone. Both in Israel of old, and in Jesus' disciples (as also with us), we find a relentless drive to power, position and prestige. In our natural thinking and the ways of the Flesh, these things are witnesses to our success, achievement and mastery of skills and knowledge. In the kingdom of God only the knowledge of the Father matters, and this comes entirely by his humbling grace.
